Haha oh christ, I just went back and kicked over all my old footprints in dA. Old, long dead accounts filled with embarrassing art (not to mention one where I listed my real lame, AND linked to my livejournal? HELLO CARELESS) have now been, at the very least, announced as dead. Boy dA, you and I have come a long way.. though this is my fourth account, this is the only one I've ever actually committed myself to in the five years I've been fooling around here.

Let's be friends for a long time, okay?

Another hefty update! Now working my way through summer. Will have some writing up soon amid lots more pictures. I'm trying to get caught up soon because I actually have some drawings I'd like to get up before Christmas but I want to keep things somewhat chronological, y'know?

I'm genuinely a bit concerned that because of the eclectic nature of my gallery (or at least, how eclectic it will be when I finally get caught up) will discourage people from actually watching me as opposed to tossing me a favorite now and again, haha. I find that most people come to dA with one interest in mind.. normal photography, cosplay, dolls, writing, drawn art.. I don't find a lot of other galleries that have a bit of all of that, I guess. So I worry that the people who watch me for my doll photos or cosplays will have no interest in my drawing or writing. Does that make sense? I don't know. I worry too much.

In other news, I love the holiday season but I'm too busy stressing about finals to enjoy it right now. And how are you today?

some of the poems i mentioned in that last journal (..like two months ago, not that anyone remembers) probably won't actually be posted since they're unnecessarily negative. since i'm now on good terms with the person they may have been about, which is fabulous. happier poems will still happen!

it is at a strange point in my artistic life that i have several pieces ready to be uploaded to deviantart that i can't yet, for several reasons.

..actually, it's at a strange point in my life in general that i encounter a dilemma like this one.

well, sometime in the next few weeks, prepare for a barrage of bad poety. perhaps some photos as well. and possibly actual art, if i can muster the courage. which isn't likely.
